Overview
This 4-6 day live-in, course is designed to provide participants with the fundamental skills necessary for them to become highly effective trainers for internal company employees. A key outcome of this course is the development of the trainee’s presentation skills, enabling instructors to communicate more effectively in their jobs.
This course is primarily targeted at anyone who is in the position of training employees for business process improvement. Others who may consider attending include anyone who wishes to significantly improve presentation skills.
Approach
This workshop is extremely intensive, difficult and highly experiential. Participants learn by doing.

- Theory is immediately applied during the workshop as students are given an example to role play, deliver individual presentations and work on individual and team assignments to practice what they are taught
- Participants are provided feedback an skills development through on-going critiques, and will be able to follow their own progress throughout the course by being videotaped
- Participants will encounter many of the real-life obstacles and pitfalls encountered by public speakers, and learn how to handle them
- Participants will learn about themselves, their own learning, facilitation and leadership styles and how to recognize and work with the styles of team members

Training Outcomes
Graduates will have the required theory and considerable practical experience in the design, preparation, organization and presentation of training materials such that they can deliver highly effective internal company training sessions. Their own presentation skills will be enhanced through an improved understanding of the process of effective learning and the acquisition of strategies to deal with the most common obstacles and pitfalls to training adults.
