ITIL formalized as ISO20000:2005

Dec 15, 2005 – Geneva – The IT Infrastructure Library developed by the Office of Government Compliance (OGC) in the UK has now been formalized as ISO20000:2005-Part 1. ITIL is the global standard for IT service management, and provides best practice guidelines for IT service management.
