This 2 ½ day workshop is designed to provide executive level participants with an overview of the concepts of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) in manufacturing and service organizations. The LSS methodologies and tools provide a reliable approach for achieving world class performance improvement through employee engagement. Lean Six Sigma has been profoundly successful across a wide variety of private and public organizations. This workshop is for those individuals who are tasked with creating an environment that fosters and sustains LSS improvement changes in their organization. Organizations that have successfully implemented LSS have enjoyed substantial and sustained performance improvement.

Approach

Six Sigma is a structured methodology for process improvement that was originally created by Motorola, and has been successfully implemented by thousands of private and public-sector organizations worldwide. Lean was created by Toyota and is a collection of improvement tools that help identify and eliminate waste in the organization.

Lean Six Sigma combines the best of these two world-class improvement approaches in a synergistic manner to maximize overall organizational efficiency. It follows the structured DMAIC approach of Six Sigma and enhances it with the concepts and tools of Lean. This provides organizations with a globally-recognized methodology for rapidly and dramatically improving the output of their business processes.

This 2 ½ day highly interactive workshop is targeted at the executive leadership team of an organization that is implementing LSS. It is designed to coach executives on their specific roles for how to effectively lead the implementation of an organization-wide LSS improvement effort. This workshop covers the core concepts of Six Sigma methodologies combined with Lean tools, and then culminates with a group discussion of the specific intent, issues, challenges, approach and benefits that would be most appropriate for your organization.

In many cases, efforts to implement LSS have stalled because the organization involved used various LSS techniques without sufficient thought about creating a culture that would enable and sustain success. This workshop ensures that your executive team will be armed with the knowledge of how to rapidly deliver enduring results with their LSS effort.
