While Kaizen is an extremely powerful approach to improvement, it generally is not sustainable in the North American world, primarily because it tends to be activity-based. SatiStar’s approach to Kaizen implements the methodologies while respecting the North American culture and bias. Our Kaizen programs are highly customized – and tailored to the customer as well as the eventual OEM. The outcome is a culturally-integrated Kaizen program that achieves sustainable results.
This two day workshop is designed to provide give attendees the theoretical concepts required to perform a kaizen, then immediately have attendees use their new learning to implement improvements within their own company.
Held in a traditional classroom setting, this course is designed to teach participants to understand the Kaizen philosophy and principles.

Participants will learn how to promote cultural change and teamwork within their organizations, and support the organization’s business process performance improvement objectives.
Graduates will have completed an actual kaizen on one of their company’s business processes under SatiStar facilitation at the completion of this course, and will have acquired the skills needed to perform additional kaizens without outside help. Attendees will also have an understanding of the tools that they can use to track and sustain improvement over time.
