Volex is a U.K. based manufacturer of electrical and glass fiber cables and connectors, with plants located world-wide including three in North America. The company employs about 15,000 people. SatiStar provided guidance to Volex in the U.K., on implementing a corporate Continuous Improvement methodology. SatiStar also streamlined the implementation of MRP-2 in their Canadian facility, and assisted in the creation of efficient plant processes across their North American plants located in Ottawa, California, and Mexico. SatiStar provided on-going guidance to Volex’s Ottawa facility for ISO 9000/14000 maintenance.
